What type of models are agencies looking for?

Wondering what makes someone stand out? Ask a booker.
1. Distinct look
Our books are filled with diverse, unique talent, so we’re always looking for models with something that makes them stand out. This could be a great smile, a funky hairstyle, edgy piercings, or simply a natural charisma in front of the camera!
2. Great personality
We love models with high energy and good vibes. You’re responsible for making a good impression on the crew and client on set, whilst positively representing the agency. Clients often ask to book models again if they really enjoyed working with them!
3. Strong portfolio
We work with a range of clients, so a varied portfolio is perfect for showing clients you're the best fit for their vision. Be open to trying new things. If you want to work with a sports brand but you only have beauty shots in your book, keep test shooting!
4. Confidence
It’s essential that you’re comfortable in front of the camera and take direction well, to ensure that the client can get the shot they need. This is especially important for parents applying on behalf of their children - they must be a fan of the spotlight!
5. Communication
Opportunities come and go quickly, so we love a speedy replier. Is your schedule flexible? Our ideal models have adaptable availability and can be ready to jump on opportunities when they arise. We also really value talent we can rely on for those last-minute briefs!
